Question 1

How do guests sign up to receive wedding text updates?

Accepted Answer

Guests simply click your unique wedding link or scan your QR code. They'll enter their name and phone number, then they're all set to receive your updates. They can also optionally provide an email address to receive email updates. No app downloads or account creation required. The signup takes less than 30 seconds.

Question 2

What if some guests don't have smartphones?

Accepted Answer

Our SMS service works with any phone that can receive text messages. Smartphones aren't required! As long as your guest has a phone number that can receive texts, they'll get your wedding updates.

Question 3

Can I send both SMS and email updates?

Accepted Answer

Yes! txt.wedding supports both SMS text messages and email updates. Guests can optionally provide their email address when they sign up. You can choose to send updates via SMS only, email only, or both. SMS messages have higher open rates (98% within 3 minutes), making them ideal for urgent updates, while emails work great for longer updates with more details.

Question 4

How does the pricing work?

Accepted Answer

Simple, transparent pricing at $1 per guest. You pay once for your wedding and can send unlimited text messages to all your guests. No hidden fees, no per-message charges. Fixed tiers: 1-50 guests $50, 51-100 guests $100, 101-150 guests $150, 151-200 guests $200, 201-250 guests $250, 251-300 guests $300. For 300+ guests it stays $1 per guest, entered at checkout.

Question 5

Is there a limit to how many messages I can send?

Accepted Answer

No! Once you've paid for your tier, you can send unlimited text updates to your wedding guests. Whether it's one message or twenty messages throughout your wedding weekend, you're covered with no additional charges.
